How Bad Would This Be? (Please be nice!)

So I've been cycling my 55g, and it's just about there. Right now nitrites are at like 1, and ammonia is at .25, and nitrates at 15-ish. In 24 hrs it brings 4 ppm of ammo down to like .5 .
So here's the question, I'm going to That Fish Place on mon. Would it be bad if I got a few of the fish from the stock, say my six giant danios then? It's a long trip but they have the best prices.

If you are willing to do water changes to maintain a safe toxin level then go for it, it's not a big deal really.

One thing to keep in mind is if you still have nitrite readings keep a small amount of salt in the tank to help negate nitrite toxicity.

Should I do that even if I don't get the fish? I have been having some nitrite troubles recently... Sometimes (most of the time) they are low (1-0) and sometimes they are REALLY high (4-5).

It's only to help alleviate nitrite toxicity to the fish, so if there's none in there it's a nonissue.
