So I got a 50 gallon all glass aquarium from a friend of mine. Her dad was a aquarist so I know the tank and stand were well taken care of. But my question is, should I re-seal the tank? I did a leak test and I don't see any leaking. Should it be ok? The take has been empty for about 10 months. And the other thing is the silicone is only on the bottom of the tank. The walls of the tank don't have silicone. That normal? And if I re-seal it should i silicone the walls?
