3 weeks is a while, but not really that extreme if you aren't using some sort of seeded media.

Look It Up
Well it been 3 weeks and no change in ammonia, it's been the same since day 1. Just about to do a 60% pwc wait a few more days and if nothing just order an active filter. This is really starting to get annoying
Everywhere suggest I should have something by now. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
The seeded filter I mentioned before from Angels Plus should help; many members on here have had good luck with them. I'd also try adding the RO Rite or Replenish I mentioned earlier; again a couple of members have had good luck adding both the minerals and the seeded filter.
