Need advice

can someone give me advice please, i have a 4 foot tank with malawi cichlids, decided to paint the back out side of the tank black to show the fish clours up, but used cheap paint and the splashes of water have torned it white in big patches ,now it looks a mess,is there anything i can put on inside of back to hide it , thank you for any help

You could add fake coral, or put plants in the back.

its mostly at top of tank as there is nothing to stop the water splashing over and spillind down the tank

Simple way... Scrape off the paint, go to your LFS and grab some black background sheet. Other than that, hide it with decor/plants.

I'd solve that splashing out of tank thing too. Do you have excessive water movement?
