Hey guys I recently started a new 20 gallon fish tank. While I wait for it to cycle, I'd like to figure out the fish I'm getting. I'd like it to be a community tank. Thanks in advance.

If you're looking for a stocking suggestion then this is good:

- 2 apistogramma cacatuoides (once the tank has matured)
- 6 rummynose tetras
- 6 glowlight tetras
- 4 otocinclus vittatus (once the tank has matured)

And by matured I mean at least 3 months would be best. By the way I think a pair of apistos may not be best for a beginner.

Thanks and I forgot to mention I have some baby platies in a tank that I'll eventually put in the tank

Oh, wow, okay. Well with 5 platies you are already going to be pretty highly stocked. You could probably also add a centerpiece fish or a small school of small fish but that's about it.
