SeaChem Prime

I have a really dumb question, sorry...
Reading on the back of the SeaChem Prime instructions it says one capful = 5mL.
Then it says 1 cap thread is approx. 1 mL.

What is a cap thread? is it determined from each twisting point within the cap? I've been using a small cap thread if thats the case to dechlorinate approx 4 gallons of water. Would that be fine? is more better or will that do enough? Thank you all for putting up with this thread.

Yes, just approximate the distance between two lines on the inside of the cap and that is about 1mL.

Seachems Prime is very concetrated compared to other products. 1 capful is enough for 50 Gallons, so it takes barely anything (basically a splash) for 4 Gallons. It doesn't hurt to add slightly more than necessary to make sure it gets the job done.
