Stocking!

hey i have a 10g that my betta was in but moved him to a 5g because the filter for 10 was apparently too strong for him...
so now im going to make it a community tank and i need to know how to stock it because its my first community tank and idk what to do haha

What interests you? Small schooling fish or larger center piece type fish?

The questions Fort posted are good ones. I'll just throw some options out there too:

1. two dwarf puffers
2. 3 african dwarf frogs
3. school of 6-8 nano fish like ember tetra, chili rasbora or celestial pearl danio. A sparkling gourami (none of the larger types though) or one or two dario dario as a centerpiece.
4. a few guppies
5. 4-5 endler's livebearers

There are a few more options but those are the ones that come to mind.

Well I got the fish and i know that tetras are schooling fish but I have 3 neons 2 penguins and 1 black skirt I also have 1 Cory it would help if u told me what Cory eat?
