I have a tank again! With fish!

It's a start. One complete tank. And yes... Ended up grabbing a heater. Hope the plants take a good root and grow.

Three rams in there need places to hide.

Compromises... But super happy with the appearance. Hope you like!

Plants in foreground and near background are real. Far background is a background. About 15 roots sets in. All confirmed aquatic.

@TMaier is right this plant is dracaena sanderiana (lucky bamboo) not a true aquatic. It needs the roots in water leaves above
 
How long will it last underwater? I would rather give the fish a week before making drastic changes.

I've had three of these plants in my tanks for two months and they still look healthy and just like I bought them.


That's not unusual for this plant but if the sprouts are not grown above water it will eventually rot. I think the majority us have bought one of these at some point.
