Not at the moment but it seems it's getting to that point. It never used to be like that until the city started messing with the pipes. I'm tired of cleaning calcium stains off of everything.

It's hard to say with my liquid rock(always 7.8)water peat moss doesn't even make a dent in my higher PH, you'd have to give it shot and see how yours changes.

Hi guys, I'm on day two of soaking. Where can I purchase Purigen? I'm rescaping one of my tanks that has Discus in it, but was very afraid of fouling the water and definitely didnt want to crash the pH.

It comes in either a bottle and you need to add it to a bag bags kinda pricey, or you can get it already in a bag 100ml. Seachem says 100ml bag will do 100 gallons for 6 months its also rechargeable. I got my bags on eBay 9.49 shipped.

How long does the tannins last in your tank, out of curiosity? With normal regular upkeep (weekly water changes and such).
