Hey Brendan. Welcome to AA! :)

It sounds like your tank may be pretty fully stocked. Can you tell us how long the tank has been set up and if you've been testing your water? The more info folks have, the better the advice.

+1

Ive heard it is best to keep the Rainbow shark with Bigger tank mates that can fend for themselves, such as some SA and CA Cichlid species, but It depends on the personality of the shark.

On some reports, People have kept them with smaller species of fish, But it was the exception that their tank was bigger than a 29 gallons (55).

Well I haven't tested my water I didn't think I needed to test it where can I get it tested??? As well I thought u could have at-least 10 fish in the 30 gal tank???well that's what the local fish specialist sead maybe even more

Most fish shops will test your water for you or you can get your own test kit for around $20. Don't throw money away on strips, they're not very accuratre.

As far as the fish... it all depends on the type of fish, how large they get, etc. You could get 50 fish in there as long as they were small bodied nano fish or only one fish if it were a type that grows larger or produces lots of waste. Lots of variables. Be wary of advice from some fish "specialists". Quite often they have only minimal training and/or experience.

Based on the fish I have in my tank now what would u suggest I add or do u think I'm at my limits???

I am also looking to possibly put some kind of ghost shrimp or fish types that clean the bottom of the tank for me cuz it's slitty cloudy I think do to food in the bottom of the tank pleas let me know that everyone thinks thanks

Honestly, my suggestion would be to rehome some fish. The betta, angel, and RTS are very unlikely to be compatible for the long term. It's more a matter of the right mix then you being at the limits. Ghost shrimp would be good to try, but will probably disappear (fish snacks).

depends on the fish... my classroom rescue shark is content to hide in cave-like decor while the plakat betta patrols the top levels of the same tank. I think this shark was used to crowded tanks. Rainbow sharks which do not have refuge to retreat to will be anti-social.

With the fish you already have, any shrimp would need a LOT of live plants and cover to survive being eaten, and I'm thinking the angel will be the predator there.
