I've had this coral about three weeks in my tank and other areas where brown slime has cleared up but this won't seem to. And another spot hasn't cleared up either. It varies from brown to black and a polyp has never come out of either spot.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

That pagoda does not look good at all. Of all my LPS corals, i find my pagoda and galaxy corals the most light demanding.
A healthy pagoda you should not be able to see anything but the extended polyps. I can only ever see the under structure when the lights are out or when the cleaner shrimp is dancing across it.

What lights is it under? And how deep.
Mine is about 7" below a 4xT5HO light.

Same lighting and about the same distance down as yours too. The rest seems very healthy, Just those two spots.
