I added a Pink-tipped anemone to my aquarium, and he doesn't look at all like he did at the LFS. He's really spread out, and I can easily see his bottom area. It almost looks like he just bloomed out. He eats just fine. I was just wondering if this is natural in an anemone, I've never had one before.

Ph: 8.3
Salinity 1.023
Nitrites: 0
Amonia: ~0

For one I would raise your salinity slowly to about 1.025.. that would be the first thing to start.. Also how old is your tank and what is your alk levels.. got any pics?

FWIW it looks pretty healthy to me.. I could be wrong but usually when anemones die they pull themselves inside of them and start to Melt.. Usually if the anemone is dying there is nothing that can be done unless water q is the issue.. it looks like the only issues i see is that the tank is quite new and the SG is quite low.. I would first raise that to 1.025 SLOWLY.... Wait for others to chime in as well with some more advice..
