help with sick butterfly fish

hi i have a sick butterfly fish in my 55 gallon sw tank along with 4 other fish . i cant get the butterfly fish out it's to fast. how could i treat for wht looks like ick. in my tank . i do have star fish and live rock. i have no coral

Can you move all inverts to another tank? If you could then (providing that all of your fish are hypo compatible) you could run hypo on your main? You'd have to provide a fishlist or do a search to find out more about the compatibility between hypo and your fish. You may also want to move your LR for the time being.

not to good i dont know if he is going to make it. it really look bad. i wish i could get him in the net i would do a fresh water dip but man that sucker is fast. faster than any fish i have ever tryed to get. what is hypo and where do i learn more about it?.
woould a 10 gallon tank be ok for all inverts?

What species of starfish and what other inverts do you have?
You will also need to house the LR somehow. A large rubbermaid tote with SW, a powerhead & heater would do.
