Hi all,

I have been having serious trouble catching some fish out of my main thank that I want to qt. From other discussions, there is a good chance I have some Green Chromies with Uronema. Since I can't catch them (my tank is 450g with 380 lbs. lr) I was thinking I will medicate my whole display tank. Besides my 7 Green Chromis I have one Yellow Tang.

Is there a med that I can put in my main tank that will not wipe out my lr but will take out something like Uronema? I have a feeling this is probably not doable.

Thanks,
Pete R.

Unfortunately no. Formalin or nitrofurazone are the best remedies. FW dips with Methylene blue have been reported to be hit and miss, personally I wouldn't bother. You can do the "wait and see" in hopes it may burn itself out (which I highly doubt) but your options are limited. Untreated it usually leads to death.

Cheers
Steve
