Aquarium Advice FINatic
Well... I have a rock of colony polyps that were once BRIGHT yellow, and now they're turning pretty dark. (like a dark colored mustard). They're about at the top middle of my tank and have medium flow.
Water conditions: 0/0/0, PH at 8.1, Alk at 3.5 meq/L, CA at 390 ppm. Temp at 80F, sg at 1.025.
Feeding: formula 1&2 every other day, Cyclop Eeze & DT's Phytoplankton only twice a week.
Should I be giving this thing trace elements like iodine? I recently switched to Oceanic cuz my CA and PH were junk with Instant Ocean. Going to do a water change this week... last water change was a 20% two weeks ago. These polyps have been looking this way for the last week, and I've had them for at least 3 weeks. Suggestions? Thanks!
