Hello all, one of my cory catfish is laying on it's side and can't swim upright? Is it a swim bladder problem? any suggestions? I hope I can save him.

Try feeding some peas, skin and blanch the peas first. What are your water parameters? Epsom salts can be helpful with swim bladder troubles although I will research whether or not they will harm cories for you. Regular salt will harm cories and I am not sure if epsom salt will. I will check and post back. You could do a pwc for starters. What size tank? Are there any injuries to the fish that you can see?

It appears that epsom salts are ok with cories, add 1/8 tsp per 5 gal. Keep an eye on the cory as this is based on research not personal experience.

all parameters are fine but i'm doing a change anyway. No injuries on the cory or any of the fish. the tank is 10 gallons.
