Do my fish have Velvet - help please?

That's brilliant thanks. So far so good with no losses. The cobra guppy is still out and about although he gave us a fright last night and we thought he was a gonner. We rapidly did a tank clean and there he was hiding away. The tetra seems to be swimming better too. So fingers crossed. Tank is 35 litres. We have 2 guppies and 5 neons. Am beginning to think we need more guppies to stop the other guppy hassling the cobra. Haven't tested the water for a few days but generally by the end of a week my stats are Ammonia 0-0.25, nitrite 0, nitrate 20-40 ( we have naturally high nitrate). Have added salt and added bloodworms as a diet change . We have fake plants. Thanks

This might be a silly question but I scrub the plants when I do a water change to get rid of a slight brown algae build up, I hope this does not affect the good bacteria?
