No betta expert but looks clean to me?
They sometimes bite /chase their tales when bored.
Have you seen any behavior like that?

There are pinholes in his tail and i kind of think it looks jagged. This is my first betta so im unsure of behavious

Clean warm water is best medicine for healthy bettas.
Is his tank filtered and heated?
How often and how much water do you change?
They can rip fins on sharp things in tank(fake plants, rocks, wood).
Some use a panty hose test; with panty hose on your hand rub things in his tank.
If they catch the panty hose they can cut his fins.
Your pics look like nice live plants?
I see the heater also now(78-82F) is comfy!

Hey. I do a 30 percent change every friday. No ammonia, ph is at 7.6 steady. I keep the tank at 25-26 degrees. He is in a 32 litre tank by himself. I use a aqua one hanging filter. I have 2 fake plants which are the little ones in the corners. They r a very soft plastic
