Well. I didn't observe the acei cichlid when i got him and now that i look at him he has ich on his fins (i think they are called pectoral fins, the ones he swims with) and on the two antenna on his abdomen.
My problem with treatment is that i have a blue crayfish in my tank.
I have a 30 gallon established cichlid tank
1 bumblebee
2 acei
4 red zebra
1 yellow lab
1 jewl
3 kennyi
2 blue johanni
And a blue crawfish

What are my options for treatment. I dont want to kill my blue crayfish :( i just salt bathed him for worms yesterday.

The case is very very small. Maybe a 10-15 tiny "grains" on a fin and maybe 3 on another. And 1 on each abdominal "antenna".

Not familiar with Crayfish, but Paraguard by Seachem has always worked great treating ich for me. It's never bothered my shrimp or snails. Not sure if crayfish are more sensitive to meds or not.

You could also try just cranking the heat to 86. That is supposed to kill ich if you can keep it there for a couple weeks without it ever dropping below that.
