nitrites down but fish still at top of the tank
. I changed out the Tetra air pump but the new one doesn't seem to be producing any more bubbles.
I added Stress Zyme to increase the good bacteria. I added a full does of Amquel per my LFS. Today I bought a sep. test kit and found that the nitrites are 0.0. Just got the same reading with the 5 in 1 strip.
The temp is 81.
Nitrate is 0

The ghost and the cichlid continue to swim at the top of the tank
and this concerns me. Are the still suffering the aftermath of the nitrite spike? Is there anything else I should do for them? The 2 cats seem very content.
