i have a harlaquin rasbora that has a bump on both sides, they are about the size of a pin head and has a couple of scaleless spots. help ill post pictures when i can. what should i do?

See if it is moving, like a parasite? Could be Ich. I would so a good substrate vac and a 50 % pwc. To make sure the water is good and clean. Do a test to see what the parameters are. If you don't have a test kit, do another 50% pwc in the morning. Make sure the water is in good condition - like less than .25 ammonia, 0 NitrItes, and under 30 NitrAtes. Clean water will give you a good place to start.

ok, the open skin seams to be healing so that is good.
ph:6.2
nitrate:40 ppm (wow goten out of hand)
nitrite:0(live plants)
hardness:150
alkalinity:0
temp: 78
if water needs to be changed how would i do so?
