I just did about a 25% water change and now my small angelfish is acting strange eg hiding , swimming on its sides ect( oh and my tank has ich that's why I done the water change)

But he is still eating
Which is a good sign

Hi, was the new water the same temp?

Sounds like he hated the water change for some reason but I'd see how he goes. No food as well for 24hrs - that might help him settle. Is filtration very powerful ?

Edit - how much do you normally water change and how often ?

Yes but he must of been shocked from the temp change cause the water was not the
Same temp as the water in the tank.he looks ok now but will he be ok,( and I do have a strong filter)

I do a water change in 1 day intervals due to ich

Bit tricky, if he is getting blown around I'd try moving ornaments to create a slower zone for him. I assume the tank temp is high so you need the filtration to oxygenate the water.

Also just keep an eye on him for a few days just in case.

Also watch out for fungus, I've had this develop doing pretty much the same thing.

Sorry I mean keep an eye on him in case it arises. I've found fungus can pop up if the water change is too cold.

Temp on about 85 degrees then do daily water changes to remove dead ich,seems to be working since white spots
Are disappearing off my neons.
