Can someone offer advice?
I have 2 ten gallon tanks, both cycled.
In top tank there was 1 female platy, 1 male guppy, 3 oto catfish, and 2 dwarf african frogs
bottom tank had a lone remaining 2 month old guppy baby
To the top tank, yesterday afternoon, we added 1 juvenile female platy and 1 male platy and 2 female guppies. They're all now dead, dying over the course of the past 3 hours. All the original fish are fine. Water tested: 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10-20 nitrate and 8.0 pH.
To the bottom we added 1 pretty young platy and 3 free baby guppies (a bit bigger than our existing one). One of the guppies died, around the same time as the other fish, after about 24 hours in the tank.
I'm almost afraid to go get the replacements. What do you think is wrong?
