Not unless it spreads rapidly or doesn't clear in a few days. If your up to it you can get some hydrogen peroxide and dab it on the area. To do this you gently remove him from the tank and place him on a towel that's damp with tank water. Gently dab the area with a q tip dipped in hydrogen peroxide. Return him to the tank afterwards. Only takes a few seconds but will help to kill the bacteria. Be careful he doesn't jump off the towel. I had a neon do that. Lost him on the floor for a while. Lol. He's still alive to this day.
 
If he's no better by tomorrow I will do that I'm pretty worried now cause he's on the bottom and he never goes to the bottom of the tank

Well he died earlier :( I did the maracyn a cpl days ago and it killed the white fuzz but I'm thinkin he was just too old
