Aquarium Advice Newbie
For several weeks now my black ghost knife has been sick. It started with a white film on his sides and then bubbles, small to big. Now he looks like maybe he has dropsy, his sides are roughed up. I was seeing him flashing but he's stopped that. He hangs by the power heads all the time like he isn't getting enough air or something. I have not seen him eat in weeks. He's in a 150 gallon tank. The water is fine with the exception of too high of phosphates which I have been doing water changes for. I don't know if it's parasites, fungal or bacterial. I have used Melafix and Pimafix and no improvement, also coppersafe but that's gone now due to water changes. I don't want to lose my fish, can anyone help?
