Hello again.
My celebes did pass away, but my 7 Celestial Pearl Danios are doing quite well in their stead. The tank remains very stable, and the fish I've had since the beginning are doing quite well. My German Blue Ram, however, has a small sore on his lower lip, just a red spot. It looks like it may be going into his jaw slightly further than just the surface, but seems unlikely. The sore itself bulges very slightly out from below his lip. There is some slightly ragged looking tissue tearing around the sore. I am currently beginning bacterial treatments. Is there anything else I should be doing? I know how sensitive German Blue Ram can be, and would hate to see mine get any sicker than is absolutely required.
