What is wrong with my Severum???

Gday Guys,
Have had fish for ages, but have only just found this site... looks neat. I'm after a bit of help. My Gold Severum has developed a bit of a problem. See pics:

It is a puss like ball on fins and also body where fins touch the body. Have added a mild salt solution to see if that will clear things up, also added a little tank prime to lend a helping hand.

Your thoughts appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!
To me it looks like a fungus and fin rot, and I would recommend Melafix for treatment and/or clean water, since it's all natural and won't kill your biological filter.
What are you water parameters? (Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate)
What size is the tank? What's the temp? How often do you do a partial water change (pwc)?
