I'm concerned about my male fiddler. He is a new addition, joining 2 females and another small male. The new guy is a young medium fiddler, having been more accustomed to saltwater rather than this brackish environment. After painstakingly acclimating him, his first night seemed fine. Today, though, his large claw disconnected. I'm worried he's not adjusting well and may not make it.
I've read all I can, but have only been at this for five weeks. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

He's all but gone now. I've been watching him all night and he's barely moving.
I'm pretty tough, but this is breaking my heart.
I'll never try a transition like this again no matter what I'm led to believe.

did it stay up on its "beach" alot? if not that could be why... i had one that liked to stay in the water for some reason and ended up dying... the rest spent most of their time out of the water and are still doing great
