bright blue algae

Hey all,

Im new to this forum and find that good advice is being offered. i have noticed this bright blue algae i cant find anything on it on web only think i can think is that it might be blue/green algae. its really bright blue as u can see in the picture. Any help would be great...is it good algae bad what shoud i do about it

lol well thats the opinion you get from a freshie!

anyways, i like looking at this forum because it is so cool looking at SW items
 
can ya see any "holes" in it?
May not yet, it's kinda young, I agree with fluff... sponge.. I got a few blue spots...

What is yoru substrate that your using with your UGF ?
 
the substrate is actually rocks some small some big ranging from mm to 1/2. Ive always wondered if it was the right substrate. But i was assuming that the somewhat larger rocks would allow for better UGF action
