Gray / white Anemone

At the beach last week an this 2 inch round anemone washed up on the beach in the surf. It's Gray an white in coulor an has no foot. It does not attach to anything just "roll" around in the sand bed an feeds. It will take food when I feed it. Does anyone have an idea as to what type it could be? I will try to post a Pic later this week.

If it is indeed and anemone, there are so many different genus and species it would most likely be difficult to identify exactly. A search for anemones local to your area may provide some pictures and names for you.

You sure it's not a jellyfish? I don't know of any anenmoes that don't have a foot.
