Hard coral ID

Looks like a Lobophyllia. I prefer not to use common names because they are way too vague. Open brain coral refers to dozens of species.
 
It could just be closed up. The feeding tentacles are out. I agree it doesn't look like the typical Lobo.
 
it's a bit bleached. too much or too little light. these are not high light corals and do best on most sand beds. i think it's a tracyphyllia.

Mr x I agree, it looks like trachyphyllia from what I researched. I am moving it to the bottom of the tank as u suggested. Should I be feeding it or supplementing something else for it's particular diet?
 
you can try feeding it a small piece of meaty foods when the lights go out. sorry i didn't see this sooner!
