pink fluffy stuff

I've got this pink fluffy algae growing in my tank. It's not cyano. Attached is a pic of it I found online. I think it's called Dotyella havvaiiensis. I couldn't find much info on it though. Is it something I should be worried about? Is there something I can do to get rid of it aside from manually brushing it off once every week or so? TIA.

Looks like red hair algae (don't know the scientific name for it). It can be a nuicense and should be treated/controlled the same as the green by manual removal and water changes.
