I have discovered some weird little creature in my reef tank. He is about the size of quarter(except he is oval), flat like a flounder, black with several white spots on his back and two antenea-looking things sticking out fom his head(?).

I have several pictures, none of them very good, as he likes to stay somewhat hidden and is hard to photograph. I will post better pictures if I can get some.

Thanks for any ideas you may have.

Looks Like a Nudibranch (aka Sea slug) to me.. They are pretty harmless in the tank however most dont survive after the food is gone.. Since its a Hitchhiker I would leave it in there...

I think is't a Black Fleshy Limpet. Touch it's back next time you can and see if it parts it's fleshy covering to reveal a white shell underneath.

This thing DOES have a hard white "shell" on it's back. I've already removed three of these from the tank several months ago, we've not added any new rock since I removed the first three, so I'm perplexed that this one has appeared so long after.....will it do any damage to my reef?
