What is this small thing????

Hello, I just noticed a day or two ago that there was this small gray-silver looking think on the glass on the back of my tank. It is approximately 3/16 in diameter, silver-gray in color with some black markings, and sightly pointy in the center. My guess is that this is some sort of algae eater? Thanks....
