I recently placed a new live rock into my saltwater tank. This morning I noticed about 10 little snails on the walls of my tank. I already have 4 turbo snails. What kind of Snails are these? How many snails is too many? Please help.
Thanks! ! :)

Limpets and stomatella snails, both are good to keep. How many snails is too many? Just make sure they have food to eat. I hope you have a large tank for 4 turbo snails. You might need to supplement algae sheets for them.

Thank you!! I have a 75 gallon tank. The turbos have cleaned up most of my algae. I am not completely sure where the little snails came from. Will the snails take over my tank? Should I give them away? I just found about 4 more little ones in the tank.

No, they won't take over and no, no reason to remove them. I would definitely supplement algae sheets though, or you are going to starve those turbos.
