What's this mucousy/spider-web stuff in my LR?

A couple of weeks ago I noticed these "spider-webs" in one of my LR pieces. They look like they're made of some sort of mucous. Anyone know what critter made these? (See attached picture)

I've seen that on much of my rock as well. My rock came from an established aquarium and I assumed it was part of a former inhabitant like a shroom or a sponge, or just some funky algea. I would like to know too. Help us experts! :wave:
 
Take look at this video of vermited snails. I can't really tell from the pic you posted but it could also be sponges, foraminiferans, or spaghetti worms.
