I tried to post the pics, but it did not work so i'm trying again. Is this algae and is it bad? How do I get rid of it if it is?

Pictures must be smaller than 100K to be uploaded to the forum, also you must hit the add attatchment button, allow the pic to upload and the page to refresh, before you hit submit.
