The 20 long during the fishless cycle. I put the LED light from the 10G for the pics. The last pic is the light in moonlight mode. Future plans include replacing the plastic plants with live plants.

I tried out a little 10 gal planted tank as well. Plenty of breeding neocardinia shrimp and some chili rasboras.

A No Water Change Tank

This 55 gallon tank is essentially maintenance free. Using RO water to top off what's lost to evaporation and feeding fish a diet containing most of the trace minerals, there's no need for water changes more than once a month, if at all. Then, if you do a water change, which is still a good idea, remove and replace just one third of the water. The plants remove all forms of nitrogen and a dual sponge filter or something similar aerates the water. This tank sustains roughly 60 Fancy Guppies and 15 or so Red Wag and Sunset Platys.

That's my humble 20 gal. I didn't know what I was doing when I uploaded these... thats why there is 3...I've learned.
