Redtail shark

here's some so so pics of my new redtail shark. he's just a little baby! 1.5" if even that!

Makes me miss my red tail that I had a few years ago. I had him for about two years and he was 5"+ insize. Then he died.

what did he die of? do you know, or did he just suddenly die?

do you know what the lifespan of these is supposed to be? i'm attached to him already, don't wanna lose him.

That was when i knew less about fish and acutally put him in a rather new tank. IMO he passed due to ammonia posioning.

They can live for 5+ years I believe. I had one for 2 years once also. Mine died because I didn't clean the tank for like 9 months. LOL. I have an Albino Rainbow Shark now and I wuv him and he gets weekly water changes.

Redtails are nice, but I love Balas for freshwater " sharks ".
