40 Gallon Stand Build- Help

Hey guys!

Never done something like this before so I need all the help I can get.

I need to build a stand for for my new 40 gallon. Tank dimensions are: 36"L x 18"W x 16"H.

I would like this to be pretty sturdy. I also would like very very step by step directions on how to do this.

You guys have never let me down before!

Depends on what you want. I built mine out of a simple 2x4 frame - very similar to what you see in the pictures in the link below. once you have the frame built, you can leave it at that, or put on plywood paneling and trim boards to make it look nicer.

Thanks CMW. I modeled mine after yours and I think it came out really nice. I'll have to post a pic or two tomorrow.
