Good day to all

After 13 years of having a dismantled 125G tank, I finally set the tank up and put in some chiclids, jewels, fire-mouth and tattooed parrots . One minor mistake on my part - purchased a Fluval 305, which is not moving enough water.

I would like to build a wet/dry for this tank but I have some questions. Is a wet/dry and a trickle filter the same thing? If they are different, which is better and why? I do not want to drill any holes in the tank so I want a prefilter hanging of the tank. I have a bunch of Plexiglas so that is not a problem.

Thanks in advance,
