How to de rim 10g

I've recently acquired a clip on Finnex and going to save it for a future build or redo of my Betta tank. I want to de rim a 10g. I've heard it's easy but no idea how to do it. It's just a standard 10g tank.

You can use extra silicone if you are unsure of its stability. Small tanks are usually fine to go rimless though.

On small tanks(under 55g IMO) it is all about the silicone!
After that it is the center brace and nothing else that matters!
The plastic doesn't do anything.
Take 'Euro' bracing as an example.

A lot of people under estimate the strength of silicone. It is not weak by any means haha
