Is is safe for fish? Also, does it matter the amount/size?

I was thinking of using 2x12x6, 2x6x6 and 2x8x8 pieces to lift a Tetrafauna Viquarium and Reptofilter that way it would look more proportional in a 55 gallon tank (free stuff is the best stuff  ).

I would prefer not to place it on gravel to lift it since its a little clumsy if not on something solid (I already tried and failed miserably) and I think plexi boxes would create massive dead spots if the seals failed. Any input/ideas/suggestions?

I know this must have been the strangest question and/or idea ever asked...

Thanks in advance!

neoprene is what wet suits are made of, so if you can wear it it's most likely safe, just aguess though
