Reefer tank

I talked to a guy the other day and he told me he made a tank out of a old refrigerator. He would seal it up take off the door put glass there with caulking and screw a frame around the glass and then cut a hole in it to feed and do whatever. Has anyone heard of this? I told him that I think he was pulling my chain but he said he telling the truth.

idk but ive been thinking about projects like this for a while. i definitely think it is doable though, you'd have to butcher the fridge though
