nanpat - how did you get the detail on your canopy? A router or prefabs?

Hi WhiskeyD, all my panels were hand made including the canopy, i have a router kit to make raised panel doors and thats how they were done....here are a few pics of the construction....

ahhh...the benefits of having tools and the space to use them! it sucks to have great ideas and live in an apartment lol all of the tanks look great, someone commented that they look better than storebought, ive found that almost ecery "diy"/custom project almost always outshines the store boughts

yes all the panels and outside was made and covered with mdf.....

It's the skill

Great to see these tanks though - such a breath of fresh air from what you see at most shops. I suppose that when you build your own tank you put that love into it that you don't get with mass produced products.
