Can tank diseases/parasites travel on your hands and spread if you move from one tank to another?

I've wondered this myself. I always at the very least rinse my hands well between tanks. If I have a sick tank I wash them and don't use the same next or anything. Maybe its just me being paranoid?

Well, figure if your hands are still wet as you go from tank to tank, I'd say almost definitely. If your being told not to use the same nets for different tanks to avoid disease by moving around some contaminated water, then why should wet hands be any different.
