I am going on vacation to Las Vegas in August. I plan on making a trip to the Grand Canyon. Does anyone have suggestions for hotels, restaurants, or anything else on the trip? Thanks!

You might want to check the parks websight to see if there are even open due to all the wildfires weve had recently! Sorry cant help on the hotels and such, been about 10 years since I was there last.

No back packing for me. I just want to go during the day, take some pictures, then find a hotel and drive back the next day.

I last went to the Canyon in 1998. I was told that the hotels in the park were overpriced and crowded, so I stayed in a Best Western in Williams, AZ.
Williams is off I40 about an hour south of the Canyon and 20 minutes west of Flagstaff. I took Rt 64 north from Williams right to the South Rim
