Marine Critters From Florida

My family is headed to Fort Walton in early July. Last year we caught a marine hermit crab and a ghost crab. I have a 2.5 gallon tank that I could cycle...he he he. Do you guys think that if we catch something from the ocean, I could keep it in that tank??? OR...is that asking too much?!?!?!

I doubt it as you probably need permits.Also,be sure of the identity of whatever you catch so you can care for them properly.

You need a non-resident saltwater fishing license to collect marine life legally.

Recreational Harvest of Marine Life (Aquarium) Species

Certain species, areas, and things (like rock) are off-limits. I would suggest a larger tank for anything you bring home.

I am from Florida. Most of the coast line counties have a no live removal policy.
