Sorry to break in, but "Blinded by the Light" was written and recorded by Bruce Springsteen, and redone by Manfred Mann. Manfred Mann's version was by far more popular.

Ithat ever an understatement...Springsteen's version was a serious flop. He wrote that way back in '72....and he still has album's coming out (next one in about 8 weeks, actually)....not bad for a guy pushing 60.
