Aquarium Advice Addict
I just received a 35 gallon Hex tank for FREE that I have no idea what to do with. But, I do love planted tanks. I have one 55 gallon Hi-Light with CO2 and one 55 gallon Low-Light without CO2. Here are my thoughts. I bought 2 bags of CaribSea Floramax with the full intention of using Aquatic Plants. I presently have an Aquaclear 70, but am considering purchasing an Eheim 250.
Question 1: For lighting, I want to purchase a 175W MH Hamilton Technology pendant. That seems to be what is recommended for tanks 25" tall. Is there a tank-mount arm for this pendant? I really do not want to ceiling mount this thing. Will I need CO2?
Question 2: I was leaning towards Angelfish based on recommendations from friends. What is compatible with Angelfish? I have never kept this species.
